Licence
DoubleCheck is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. Those terms apply between you and Avenue Labs, with Apple as a third-party beneficiary.
Subscriptions
DoubleCheck requires a subscription, billed to your Apple ID through the App Store at the price shown when you subscribe. It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel, which you can do at any time in iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge; you keep access until then. Refunds are handled by Apple.
What DoubleCheck is, and isn’t
DoubleCheck is a memory aid. It keeps a photo of what you checked so you can look at it instead of going back. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment for any condition, and it doesn’t replace care from a doctor or therapist. If checking is taking over your day, a professional can help.
The app records; it doesn’t switch anything off or lock anything. A photo shows what the camera saw at that moment. Making sure things are actually off, locked or closed is still up to you.
